Dance for me because Camp Kindle has really helped me stop being ashamed of myself and my mom and I want other kids not to have to feel ashamed.

Sue’s heart art

Sue’s Christmas Break photos. She spends most of her time in her room: “It’s quirky and random and sometimes chaotic, but it belongs completely to me.” She and her friends hang out at the Plaza Colonnade and the movies. She loves to participate in Karate, dance, and be silly. She also loves her family: “My family consists of the one I was born into and the one I have made throughout my life.”

Dear HIV:

I fear that my mom shall die soon and not be able to see me grow up and graduate, but I do know that if she keeps taking her medication she will survive. Although she does not enjoy living with you she lives with it and goes on with her life like a normal person. What gives me hope and gives me happiness and energy is knowing that she does the mandatory things needed to keep her alive and just seeing her smile.

From,
Sue

I want to be a physicist because I like all the laws and knowing how things work, it’s fun.
